The cumulative delivery of China aluminum futures in the first three quarters was 544,000 tons

Oct 20(LTIT) – In his speech at the opening ceremony of International Aluminum Week this month, Shanghai Futures Exchange General Manager Wang Fenghai said that the market size of Shanghai Futures Aluminum Futures ranks second among similar contracts in the world, with stable operation, controllable risks, reasonable structure and increasing influence.

In the first three quarters of this year, the Shanghai Futures Exchange traded a total of 1.51 billion lots and 96.33 trillion yuan, an increase of 45.6% and 34.9% year-on-year respectively. Among them, aluminum futures traded 40 million lots and 2.5 trillion yuan, with a cumulative delivery of 544,000 tons.
